what a stroke of luck!!!

some of you will remember that a few weeks ago I was trying to trace the owner of casgrug joan and pink floyd, the dam and sire of my new mare. Well after having little to no luck I saw an advert for a foal by pink floyd and contacted the seller, turns out she is Shantia's breeder and has photo's of her as a foal and of her dam and sire. What a stroke of luck!

She should be e-mailing them at some point today, I'm really excited!!

Funny how stuff like that happens!

We were out hacking, and 1/2 way up a mountain miles from anywhere (I was living in Chile at the time) when we ran into a guy hearding some cows who asked after my mums mare, it turned out he had bred her and he had lots of stories about her mum (she was a spitting image an absolute lunatic like her daughter). Never saw him again...it was weird.
