my colt is just up to 13 months and has no signs what so ever of being coltish, his bits have not dropped and hes not interested in the ladys at all he lives out in a mixed herd and is the sweetest little man ever, should i be getting worried and call the vet or let nature take its course and leave it a year im slightly worried on his development thanks

You need to take him away from any mares or fillies ASAP - he is technically capable of getting a mare/filly in foal, regardless of wether you think he is interested or not!
If he has not shown any signs of dropping yet, don't forget they can suck them back in when you go near them :D, I would get the vet to check him over - sometimes they can be just in the end of the inguinal canal so can be found when sedated. If you don't have the facilities to keep him entire then now is the best time to geld - before the flies. If you do have the facilities then you could wait till next year, but the chances of them appearing if they are right up in the abdomen are slim.
