what animal movies make you cry?

is there an animal movie that exists that isnt totally heartbreaking?!

just watched marley and me, for about the 7000th time, and it never fails to have me bawling my eyes out.

black beauty is another one, war horse had me greetin, i cant actually think of any that arent sad! even the animated ones have sad bits!
 
Even cartoon films get me, The Fox and the Hound gets me everytime! Lol
Black Beauty is the best though, full on howling everytime the bit comes on when Ginger dies..
 
Oh goodness, all of them! Marley and me made me cry just thinking about it once, I was walking up some stairs and started crying haha. Deeply affected I was. Black beauty when ginger is on the wagon :'-( lady and the tramp when the old bloodhound gets run over, watership down when bigwig nearly dies and they say that rather beautiful rabbit prayer...

I honestly think I would like that on my gravestone I think it is so lovely!
 
Black beauty, k-9, watership down, bambi. Won't watch either marley&me or warhorse. I also cry at the start of flipper. It would be easier to list those I don't cry at. I'm fine with 101 dalmations!

The Fox and the Hound ! I cried just reading the sticker book I had when I was about 7 !
 
glad im not the only ones.

when its movies that people die i honestly dont bat an eyelid.. when its animals oh dear god!

especially like war movies, or even lord of the rings are the horses all get hit with arrows, im like NOOOOOO
 
Have you seen the neverending story when the horse gets sucked into the quicksand? Sob!

I have been thinking about sad animal films since reading this thread, it already bought a tear to my eye... Boyfriend thinks I've gone mental haha.

Oh I know rockafella and it seemed so unnecessary to the storyline too!

Oh I forgot about white fang!

More recently water for elephants! I didn't cry at war horse, I seemed to be feeling more strong than usual that day!

Did anyone watch the animals of farthing wood tv series? That had me blubbing every week!
 
Marley and me was really sad - now I have dogs I probably couldn't bear to watch it again! Didn't cry at war horse the film, but blubbed a lot reading the book! I thought the film lost its impact by not using the horses voice as narration.
