What are my options with stirrups and girth?

OK so I have a saddle to try out when I can put a bit in bree's mouth (Thursday). Back when I last had a horse there wasn't a lot of options in stirrups and girths, but now there's gazillions. Any suggestions for a not as stable as she should be rider and a rather round friesian?

Stubben string girth. They have more grip on round horses and are nothing like the string girths of childhood. Bent leg safety stirrup irons and leathers that have nylon running through the middle so they don't stretch.

I have a girth which is stretchy on both sides, no idea what make but I like it
