What are the best long riding boots?

I've been looking at Ariat and Mountain Horse which look good quality. Are there any other good brands?

I'm usually a budget buyer! I hav'nt even looked at those brands, i'll have a gander in a bit. Are they leather? x x

Yes both are leather, and both come in wide which is great as I have chunky legs!
Both pairs were less then £100.

Sounds perfect! I know i'm gonna have a problem finding the right pair though as im a tiny winy 5ft 3/4 and i bet a some of them will be too long! xx

Am loving my Ariat bromonts, put a M Horse one on one foot and Ariat on the other and the Ariat ones are so much more comfier!

I love Ariat, i recently brought their Vectra jacket which is sooo smart and its nice that its fitted too! x

I don't wear long boots - I go for the short boot/gaiter option. but - I don't wear Mountain horse boots as they damage the tendons in the soles of my feet. Ariats are so much more comfortable and wearable.

i tried both boots - one on either leg. the ariats were the best length on my shorts legs and size 4 feet. the ariats were also so comfy. I have ariat short boots too and always wear them to walk long distances cos they are soooo comfy...
