What are the best oils to use

It all depends what you want the oil to do... Do you want condition of coat with less emphasis on weight gain, do you need it primarily to help with condition. Do you need it as a form of slow release energy, are you looking at using to enhance mobility and joints? Every oil has its own niche, whereas others are more appropriate as a broad spectrum.

For example, the process that oil goes through when it is processed as cooking oil, means that it is not as efficient at helping to gain weight, but it is still suitable for creating that shine.

Flax/Linseed is fantastic for weight gain and condition although, if you are wanting that you would be better placed to feed linseed meal, not oil... its more effective and a lot less costly.

There are some fantastic high oil balancers out there, I love outshine by baileys it adds condition, shine and slow release energy along with the required vits and minerals.

Or there is copra - high oil content, great for shine and weight gain and can be feed as a complete meal.

There are many more... it just depends what you want it for

Definitely not for weigh gain, I was thinking for joints and coat. My 3 year old is full of dandruff and flaky skin, she wasn't given the best start in life, poor thing :(
