What are the levels in dressage and eventing?

Having never got further than novice dressage and unaff eventing how do the levels go up and what are the heights etc?
As in for dressage, prelim, novice bla bla etc
Help for a thickie please!

Thought so
I'm not sure on 1* etc

But I think 1* is like novice, 2* int and 3* Adv and then 4* just they are international classes?

I think this is right an eventer will tell me!

I think CIC* is like a novice, CCI* is like a small intermediate, CIC** is like an intermediate and CCI** is like a small advanced, and so on. I *think*!
