That is what my boss shouted at me from across the field today.

I have never been so embarrassed. I was riding one of her horses, only the second time I have ridden him, and apparently I was trotting along flapping my left elbow. My right was fine as I had my stick in that hand. She then stood at the fence and screeched every time my elbow moved from my side. I never realised I did it but amazingly it really did improve horses flexion and I found it alot easier to get him to bend.
Tomorrow she said she is going to 'tidy me up', she says I'm generally good but a bit messing in places such as my elbow, shoulders tipping forwards etc. No pain no gain I suppose.

You could park a bloody double decker bus in that corner! was my old instructors favourite as I careered around the sand school.

on the contrary, I was told at a similar age at a clinic with a well known sj trainer who shall remain nameless, that rising trot was indeed just like sha**ing and surely we all knew how to do that?
I nearly died of embarrassment. He then stood and watched us working in for another few minutes and then said 'obviously not, then.'
Which was almost worse .......
