What would you like to achieve with your horse next year???
Just a bit of fun really... be interesting too!

Mine would be to keep my horse sound,
to complete the Newmarket sponsored ride in September :)

and to go to the beach. He's never been and I'm sure he'd love it!

Just to have a happy healthy horse :) He is accident prone and a total nutter but a beautiful loving horse. Hoping nothing goes wrong this year (had a fab year last year in the fact the only thing he had was a hoof abscess caused by a stone out hacking).

He's a lovely, kind boy and deserves to be loved as much as possible :D

I don't compete with him but it would be nice to see my loanee compete on him this year.

To have fun with him and end the year with a sound happy pony.

Theres loads of competition goals I have but at the end of the day if they dont happen then its no big deal as long as we have both enjoyed our selves along the way. I would love to have him ready to do a BE on a ticket by the end of the year but if it doesnt happen then I wont be to worried theres always next year.

to stop acting like a chicken and gain some confidence so will be able to hack Echo in forest (as well as getting some help schooling him) and get Archie broken probably to driving pony

And, really pushing my luck, hope the people over the road are willing to sell a bit of land and that we can afford to buy it and build some stables

Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeee

Big goals for mine..
:)get my new big boy home and start working with him to get him backed and riding...ride him in the forest!! and wherever else possible...
:)continue working with my younger 'problem' boy and see some serious improvements in his frankly appalling manners...don't mind where he is up to by the end of the year in terms of backing as he is young still and immature mentally, so not pushing him...but will see where we get up to..
:) depending what happens with daughter's loan pony, continue to see her grow in confidence and maybe do a local show with her..possibly show loan the pony-boy in-hand a bit first..
:) best friend has just moved to horse property nearby and has big plans to do indoor school and xc course there...both big boys are booked in to do stuff there when possible..
so, not much to get on with then! :D

My main boy is nearly 9 and has EPSM, we've not managed to do much so far so my goals are

to get him fit and keep him ticking over
to have regular lessons
to do more hacking alone
to have a go at a pleasure ride
to go to a local show
to start doing a wee bit of jumping

also...

to lose weight so I can ride my wee NF boy
to have one or two nice LW riders so we can hack the boys out together
to get the wee man out to local shows and pleasure rides
