Did a Le Trec last August @ Uckfield Riding Club. Was a really good laugh!
Did the pairs with my friend and her scatty T/B. Turned out he was better at the obstacles than my not-so-scatty T/B!
We have a long and detailed plan leading up to the Milton Keynes 3DE at the end of May, which I wont bore you with! Highlights include Ardingly RC ODE at end of April, lots of BD ans some SJ
If we get through that....well we'll see about the Sheenster and Fat Man doing some Intro's
Hmm trec sounds interesting... might have to look that one up! We did a fun trec-style thing at our yard show a couple of years ago, was a really good laugh but I don't think it was strictly trec! And I don't think schnapps are included half-way round the course (was Xmas!)
After having a fantabulous jump lesson yesterday, my plans are to do an affiliated prelim dressage and get a good %, to do some 2' and 2'3" SJ, to go XC schooling, go to RC camp in April, then over the summer keep it all up and end the summer at a 2' or 2'3" ODE. Then start hunting next season!
I did a trec pairs once, it was really good fun! We won, butmy horse is mister atomic bombproof, so figures!
This year, with baby horse, I want to return to where I left off before he went lame! I want to do an intro on him, get him back up to elementary and conquer my show jumping fears - hopefully by doing some BSJA...
With the donkey, it would be nice if he could behave himself for an entire season, but I am not holding out any hopes!
I'm gonna affiliated BSJA and jump Novice/Discovery. Also do some Intros and maybe some Pre-novices but on a ticket cos I can't afford to affiliate to both!
Might have a bash at some dressage next winter and definately gonna go hunting next winter (missed this season cos of my back).
