mine are,
1) lower leg slips back slightly because i let my heel come up when being lazy.
2) i tend to get in front of the movement, causing the horse to go onto its forehand.
3) my hands tend to get a mind of there own at times.

not really much hope for me is there?

i tend to put my soulders forward/tense up but when i think about it it is ok

my right hand tends to turn over when the other stays nice

lower leg comes forward therefore my leg is not on (mainly as i have had a v. fast pony)

I lean back a little too much during flatwork, and dont have a very good lower leg position (however it IS improving) when jumping; I also fold too much when jumping, if that makes sense.

Can tend to look down at horse, hands etc....Just how I constrate, much better now though.
Lower leg slipping behind the girth since I broke my ankle but again pretty much fixed.

Completely drop my horse in front of a fence, if I can't see a stride (god bless her she always looks after us and gets us to the other side!!). This is a nervous habit I've developed and haven't been able to get rid of since a very bad fall.

Jeez, where do I start?

With new horse everyone is telling me how much better I am riding (naturally I don't believe them) but worst fault with him is I sit up too quickly over a fence and make him hollow. Got into the habit with my last horse, don't know why I do it, and getting a total complex about it

Having another lesson tomorrow, but if anyone has any tips.....

Nagging legs, tend to nag with hands if I'm not careful, flatwork I tend to hang on to his head too much cos the brakes aren't fab jumping & I seem to anticipate getting run off with, jumping I sit there like a lemon going 'oh sh*t' when I can't see a stride rather than doing something constructive about it, esp to a //.

Good to see other people's faults tho cos sometimes when you ride / train etc by yourself all the time, you start to think that you're the only one with probs...

1) heels have a habit of slipping up!
2)lower leg slips back slightly when jumping
3) sometimes kick a bit when pickle is being extremely lazy and unhelpful

oh and i pretty much hate everything about my canter position, i cant find a good way to sit and end up everywhere!!

it's getting really irritating!! i can see lots of stirrupless lungelessons coming on!!

when jumping i stick my elbows out and don't advance my hands enough....when doing flatwork i sit a little to far forward (oops just maks horsey go faster!!)... ANd when hacking i loose ALL my riding ability and just have fun - which my horse seems to like! (ps: I don't mean it literally i still ride but i like the feeling of not having to be in 'full' control!! And just have fun baisically!!)

far too many to list here but will give it a go:
leaning forward
unstable lower leg especially when jumping
haven't got an independant seat
but barring these I generally have a lovely time with my horse and wouldn't give up riding for anything

Way too many decades of bareback riding, both on the flat and over jumps.......sticky out toes when jumping

.

I tend to lean forward. not really bad its actually my shoulders, i find it hard to roll them back. I find that as im so tall i feel the need to lean forward, i dont look like and idiot its just slightly. Its not a nerve thing though as i dont stand up tall on the ground. I feel too tall so i tend to lean a bit.

I turn my head to the side so I can hear whoever is shouting at me- but i forget to look ahead when there is noone there and still turn it to the inside sometimes- I don't look down though!
