What beach to ride on?

Given the weather, I'm dying to take my boy for a paddle in the sea. Or more likely, a gallop along the beach! ;) I'm new to the area and wondered what beach you would all recommend for riding? We're based near Selby but anywhere along the Yorkshire coast would be good.
Anyone got any suggestions?
Thanks!

Ditto Fraisthorpe, plenty of parking £8 in farmers field, toilets and ice cream van there too.
We went last week and hope to make it again next week, making the most of this beautiful weather

Horse riding

The beach byelaws do not allow horse riding on the main beaches, which includes South and North Bay beaches, Scarborough.

However, the following areas are open to horse riders:

Sandsend to Upgang Ravine (North of Whitby by golfers/pedestrian bridge)

Filey - South of Martins Ravine , Google maps: Martins Ravine, Filey) towards Reighton Gap. Best access from Reighton Gap, and Primrose Valley .

Agree with fraisthorpe - best pony day out I've ever had! Think it could be a nudist beach though....? It was winter when I went! Hehe

Cleethorpes behind pleasure island. Just turn up, park up & go. Best to avoid over the holidays though if you have a horse that isn't keen on the rollercoasters ;) I've also been to Theddlethorpe years ago which was nice & quiet. You need a car pass now, which are free. I've just got mine & will be heading over there next month with our youngster :)

I'm going to Theddlethorpe at the beginning of October. How long a stretch of beach is it Tinap?

Hiya, sorry noy been on here in a while!
Honestly I can't remember, its been quite a while since we've been as we usually go to Cleethorpes. The map I've just got says the Saltfleetby - Theddlethorpe dunes stretch for 8km (whatever that is in miles) I'm not sure if you ride on all of that though xx
