what bit do you use for youngster

Ive always used french link thought they were gentle .What do you use for recently backed 5 yr old.Trainer keeps forgetting to tell me what he uses he mentioned k something any ideas.New horse is in bigger bit so need to get something before he comes home.

I have mine in a normal french link snaffle but im changing to a D ring rubber snaffle as I want something as gentle as possible (he's very sensitive in the mouth).

tbg I ve always had sensitive type too but feel new boy is going to be stronger.Hes fairly strong long reining hoping to have small ride tuesday and ill have look through ebay for ideas.

Depends on the horse really i would prefer them in something like a french link full cheek but i have just got a 4 year old and he is in a waterford untill he settles then he will be put into a french link he is just a bit strong at the moment as everything is new and exciting but its not something i would want to keep him in

Sprenger 'KK' bits?

Much better than NS bits in my opinion although I just use a bog standard stainless steel bit.
