what bit would you use?

My new boy is ridden in a waterford usually, as its the only one he wont play with and chomp, but i hacked him in it the othrday and he was really really headstrong. What would you use to hack a horse thats not so easy to chomp?!?

I have no idea when it comes to bits lol as my horses previously have been ridden and happy in a french link~!

What do you mean by 'chomp' a horse playing with the bit isn't a bad thing means they are loose in thier lower jaw.

How old is he?
