Our gelding is a very injury prone boy and is currently in Stretch and Flex training wraps with Tri-Zone over-reach boots because as well as catching his heels when he over-reaches Sunny also clips his pasterns and sometimes the bottom of his fetlocks. These boots are fine for flatwork ect but when jumping I feel he cannot stretch his legs out fully because the boots are restricting him so haven't pushed him to jump any higher than 60cm recently. Are there any boots on the market that you think would be fine and cover this part of his leg but not restrict his movement as much.
We tried tendon boots and rubber overreach boots when we got Sunny and he just cut his legs to shreds. He is in back shoes which caused this problem but our farrier advised us that Sunny will always need his back shoes because he does quite a bit of road work. Much help would be appreciated :) xxx

Try sports boots, premier equine do some which looks good. They are developed for performance horses so should allow full movement.

I also quite like sports medicine boots, have both generic ones and premier equine ones. If you like premier equine on Facebook you can get discount codes and a daily sale of 20%
