What boots?

The 2yr old tb (racehorse) I ride at work over reaches slightly and has grazed her pastern I have tried a soft pastern boots but she was sore with it on and it doesn’t completely cover the grazed area. The top of normal over reach boots will also rub any suggestions what I could try?

don't think that over reach boots will cover all the afected area

I used a prolite pastern wrap when my horse had a similar prob and it worked really well - it's neoprene so doesn't absorb anything
