What boots?!

I have a new eventer and want to buy really good boots now so I don't end up buying new/different ones in a few months time.
I basically want tendon boots for his front legs and fetlock boots for his hind legs, in WHITE.
I also want some good XC boots for front and hind legs. Preferably white again. I have been researching the NEW boots and they look good, any thoughts? I used to want clarendon boots but have heard many unhappy stories about them so won't go there!
Any personal preferences or good/bad experiences?

Clarendons for me all the way.... never had a prob with them and my oldest pair are 6 years old and still going strong....

I'm all for NEW boots - love them!

I have the competition boots as have very good tendon guards, are lightweight & easy to clean and don't slip. Have just invested in another pair which are air cooled.

Veredus are the best tendon boots I've ever used.

I use veredas tendon/fetlock for SJ. They are white and very hardy.

For XC I have clarendon but I prefer my NEW Airflow Sports boots - hardwearing and allows the leg to breath. I have them in black and I am afraid I don't know if they come in white.

N.E.W and Claredons are excellent!!!!! Can't reccommend them enough.

I personally love my white clarendons for cross country but have used sabre event ones too on my old girlie. Never had a problem with either, other than chunky boy cant fit his legs into the sabre ones

The veredus ones are nice in white!!! look good and just stick in washing machine to clean!!! the NEW xc boots are also meant to be very good

i have the john w tendon and fetlock boots they are really good wash well and dont slip!

Woof Wear white club boots for dressage, Eskadron flexi-soft tendon/fetlock boots in white for SJ and N.E.W light weight comp boots for xc- I am also not a Clarendon person!
They all wash well and have lasted ages, never any probs slipping (and we don't tape them)

I use the prolite ones, front and back, for XC.

I've been happy with them, they don't hold water, and wash up really well.

Some brill ones I bought last year were made by Legacy. They are really good protection wise, easy to wash and really cheap (£17.99) a pair. Would highly recommend them as xc boots!

Veredus for Sj all the way, Prolites for XC with out a doubt. N.E.W max performance ones still feel flimsy to me, and the fluff is the only thing that makes them fit IMO! Prolites are very close fitting, tough, and never move, even used them drag hunting and not a thing has got under them. Best by far.
