What brand of shavings?

Hey all me again.

Anyone got advice on what shavings is best? I am on a bit of a budget so I cant afford really expensive bales.

I was buying shavings from our local farm shop a few at a time, i then found a company who would deliver if you bought 30 or more, this could be split between a few people, each bale turned out to be approx 75p a bale cheaper and it was still good quality brand stuff. I have never bought from the farm shop again.

Snoflake are good value for money
at 6.70 not cheap, but use fewer bales than of economy ones.

Hunters! Unfortunately seem to be the most expensive but go much further than the cheaper brands, tried Woburn and what our local supplier calls Euros, which are actually bigger bales but still don't seem to go as far as Hunters. When horse NOT on box rest I can get away with 1 bale a week, also on rubber matting.
