what brand of wood pellets do you use, and if they are not LWP, how would you compare

im wondering if there are any similar price but way more absorbent

nature's best.

only one i've tried so can't compare. i'm happy with them. paid about £5 per 15kg bag so they're not as cheap as LWP i don't think (judging by the advert at the top of the page)

i find them fine for my clean pony. but messy horse is very wet and messy. he's not so well suited to them...

I buy locally off a chap called the Spalding Gardener, I think they are better than LWP (really white) and are £4.00 for a 20kg bag delivered.

Also great as when I run short, he is straight down (has been the same day), to get me by.

Corely Bio Wood works for us and they tend to deliver within 2 days (that said they're only about half an hour away from us) For a pallet of 100 bags (10kg each) it's £2.34 a bag, tho the price is going up in the new year.

I am on LWP and this is my first year so can't compare. I do use more than they say - 2 x 15 k bags a week but mine are large and very piddly.

I have to say 2 weeks in with Farra, I am very impressed and think they are better than megazorb - her rugs are far cleaner as they do seem to really soak up the pee. She still has bits of poo in the bed - she stomps them into pieces, but it is easier to get most of it out than with the megazorb as the bedding sticks less to them.

I am so pleased with the savings I am making they have had a new rug and bossy bib each for Christmas

We have Nature's Best - bought in by YO. I think that they are more expensive than LWP although bags are different sizes. I seem to use far too many bags so would like to change back to LWP!!!
