ets - shes a youngster and yet to fill out... :)

thanks :)

She looks like she has some TB in her, and some Irish sport horse, but possibly some cob because of her feet? Look up her breeding in her passport if its stated, google her sire/grand sire and it might come up with something :p

shes 'unknown' breeding....

i do have her breeder listed in her passport though...

she was sold to me as cob x warmblood.

cue thick mode... irish sports horse is a breed???

i thoughts it was just a type :o :o

Irish sports horse, is a mix of TB and Irish Draught. Although the mix varies!!

You were told cobxWarmblood, personaly dont think theres any warmblood in there more likely cobxTB i would think, nice type though, i expect youll be able to try your hand at everything.:)

cob x standardbred ?She looks very much like a mare i know someone has who is def standy x cob same colour and everything but lovely mare 100%

thanks for all the replies :)

very intresting!!! tbh i will post again in a year when shes filled out and ask again - but for now i am seeing the tb/irish in her.....

i think she will be a cracker once shes filled out and i am considering ringing her breeder and asking if he can tell me what she is!!! lol!!

ISH is not a breed it is a type and could be a mix of TB/ID/WB etc etc - and even if TB/ID not necessarily a straight split either.

I actually think your mare looks like she has welsh cob in her with that feather and head and quite likely a bit of TB too. Cob x TB is too generic - "Cob" can have a multitude of breeding behind it so there isn't really a set "type". My old irish mare was "irish cob x TB". Dad was 16" mum was 15.1 (defined as a "common" cob). Mare ended up 16.3 and intermediate eventing.

She is certainly very pretty and it will be interesting to see how she fills out!

thanks luci :)

cant wait to see how she looks next year too. she has her first intro dressage test this month (which im cr*pping)....:D... and then thats it for this year then schooling/hacking/in hand walkies/groundwork over winter :)
