Ill start;

I have an 8 yr old ex hurdler so TB! Who is a brillant shelf ornament soon to be field ornament (hopefully!) :p joking aside i brought him to event, he has awesome scope and ive been told he would have gone far if he hadnt injured himself but he just isnt healing :( ahhh well you win some you lose some.

A cob, who was a show cob and did very well with previous owner, then i bought him because he was injured, so now only capable of hacking, and the shettie who is his companion who goes for walks with us on the lead rein. Love them both to bits.

A welsh section a - really want to show her inhand but unless I can sort out transport it won't happen!
Other than that lunge/walk out inhand, would love to break her to drive but shes mental and unpredictable so I don't see that happening either!! :p

Cob. Started with me as a show cob, does quite well.

I am pushing him into jumping (lots of lessons & 1st clinic today) but neither of us are very good so dressage is next as my ex-sharer is a grade 2 dressage rider & did wonders with him & I get told he has 'good paces' so....

Watch this space.

NB: why is jumping so scary?!!

I have a Welsh D and we do pretty much everything!
Regularly competes in sj, xc, showing and arena xc's. We also dabble in a bit of ODE's and dressage. And for a bit of fun we like to go hunting, go on pleasure rides and go for a play at the beach. I want to do a bit of everything so the pony gets dragged a long to them!
He usually does quite well, infact he won both of his classes at a sj at the weekend. I think he enjoys his arena xc's having only done 4 and gotten 3 1st's and a third. We're hoping to do the wpcs performance awards next year. He's a really game little pony and easy to do, goes with whatever and can be left for weeks and then just go for a hack no problem.

I highly recommend a welsh D for a versatile fun breed with a sense of humour!! You can't beat them :)

3/4TB x 1/4ID - Currently eventing (and winning) at BE90 level. He is only 5 and just done a handful of BE events, having been placed in all bar 1 (numpty jockey error!). Next season we will move up to BE100 and possibly a Novice at the end of the season depending how he goes. He has the ability and temperament to be a top class horse (according to 2 different 4* riders/trainers), so no need to rush!
Full TB - Eventing at BE100 very successfully (ranked 7th int he BE foundation points rankings for 2012). Unfortunately she has arthritis so will not be going any higher.
The rest are either youngsters or retired!

Selle Francais x Oldenburg 8 year old mare. Currently working hard on our schooling and jumping with a plan to start to compete next year at RC level in some prelim dressage (not my favourite thing but good for her!) Jumping maybe some teams if we are lucky and hopefully affiliate at some point. She is also a lovely hack who canters out first or last, ignores traffic and is a general sweetheart!

Daughter (age 9) has a 13.2hh reg NF 11yr old gelding. She does very well locally showing in M&M and WHP classes so hope to progress with that next year. He also loves hacking and is a nice all rounder for her she loves him a lot. Only had him since the summer as we sadly lost her previous pony in June (broke his leg in the stable) and was absolutely gutted but this boy has helped her so much :)

Highland - does everything from TREC to occasional horseball to dressage, jumping and anything which takes my fancy.

2 year old highland who will do all the above in time to come with a little luck. 19 y/old cob who used to do all the above, but now just hacks.

My sister has two TBs (glutton for punishment, she is!).

Big TB does RoR showing (he's too pretty not to!), events at BE100 and might move up to Novice, and might be turning his hoof to some sidesaddle adventures next year. He's a star hacker as well :D Al is contemplating hunting him, and I think has yearnings to do some hunt rides/ team chasing!

Mini TB is only 5 and came off the track this year. Currently, she's recuperating and awaiting a tendon scan to check there's no damage there, poor girly. However, she was aiming at eventing. Al was also considering going in for some WH showing with her if she grew up in front a little more, but she'll have serious scarring on her leg so I doubt she'll be able to :(

I own a lovely cob who I have just retired and he has gone out on loan to a family friend as a companion - he is loving this role! I used him to hack and do pleasure rides on.

I am currently trialling an Anglo Arab x Friesian who I hope to hack, do pleasure rides and a little dressage.

I've got an Arab who currently doesn't do much because he's only 5 and has never done anything! But when he's going well (and he seems such a fast learner, I am so pleased with him) we will be doing a bit of everything, endurance, jumping, dressage (yes he CAN self carry without a pokey nose, I'm surprised too!) And le trec, and maybe little x country. But I am a bit scared of fixed jumps so we'll take it easy on the latter ;)

ID x TB x Connemara 16hh 5 year old mare who is hunting at the moment and will do a bit of low level competing next summer. Very green but very honest, no natural ability over a fence at all, shuts her eyes and hopes but you've got to love her enthusiasm, I'm sure the technique will come with practice!

Beautiful WB yearling filly, a bogof that turned out to be a star. She is the kindest thing on 4 legs and moves like a dream with lovely limbs, I cannot wait to start long reining etc next spring.

Daughters Shetland x Section A, called Beauty but affectionately known as Furball.

I have a 5 year old TB, currently she does nothing as I have a lot going on at the moment which stresses me out and as she's not always the nicest of rides I'd just get annoyed with her! It's best not to bother and give her another winter off :p

I have a Trakehner gelding. He is 17.1hh and is a bit of a dressage specialist. I mainly hack him but do enjoy the odd small prelim dressage competition. I wish I was a bit braver so I could do more with him!

My girl is a Standardbred pacer. We bred her to race and eventually breed from (dad loved her sire's pedigree). We broke her in at 2, raced her at 3 and 4 (this summer) with a couple of wins, and then decided that she probably won't race again because she wasn't enjoying it.

She hadn't been the great success my dad had hoped so I have talked him out of breeding from her and now I'm reschooling her as a riding horse (working on her trot and canter and general balance and steering issues). We've been hunting three times and are both having a blast. Will hunt her through to March and then perhaps next summer we might have a go at jumping :D

This is my beautiful girl:

I have a Highland x TB who does a bit of everything. She is a fab jumper but I'm pretty rubbish so we don't do as much of that as she would probably like, but we hack, school, have dabbled in la trek (which was awesome, there just aren't many around) and do a little bit of unafilliated dressage. I sometimes wish she was a bit bigger (only 15.2hh) but she is a superstar, love her x

I have a 4yr old ISH.

He will mainly SJ, probably do some eventing, and maybe the odd bit of hunting etc. So far has shown a great attitude and loads of scope, so we'll see how far we can go!
