What breed of dog is this?

Just seen one walking past work and the breed is on the tip of my tounge, but cant for the life of me remember.

And neither can anyone else!!

Anyone know?

They are wonderful dogs, my mother used to have one!

Are they aggressive? I am always mindful of the stories about Princess Anne's EBT - although I realise not all dogs of the same breed have the same temperament

No, and I honestly don't think any of the Bull Terrier breeds are (Staffs, Pits etc) either, it's to do with the plebs that raise them!

When we were kids the landlord of out local had one (called Fanny!) and she was adorable. They're that 'so ugly they're beautiful' type I think

this breed is so sweet would love one but partner says they look like they have run into the wall while looking at the floor

we have a few that come in our practice unfortunatley they arn't nice dogs and are v.bad with other dogs and people but they have plebs for owners so what do you expect,they bought this type of dog for all the wrong reasons which is sad as they can be nice in the right hands. My friends lab was savagely attacked by one on a footpath and had to have a lot of stitches all round it's head and neck as his jaw locked on and it was awful,worse thing is the dog that did it belonged to a livery on the same yard as us!!!

all the ones i have worked with have been really sweet and daft as anything but they had good owners, its sad that they get used as a status symbol same as rotties and staffies
