Passport doesn't say...looking for opinions...

She's lovely - she looks to me like an ISH (Irish Sport Horse) - so an Irish Draft x TB. They tend to come in many shapes and heights. Some are very fine and TB like whilst others can be chunky and more of the Irish Draft bone.

Yes she is suppose to be a 2nd cross i.e IDxTB dam and IDxTB sire but as I have no proof I thought I'd ask people's opinions :)

Kind eye? What does that mean? You will have to excuse my complete lack of knowledge of horsey terms. Or u could just mean literally her eyes look kind? Haha (I hope I can delete this part once u have replied as I may look very silly!) :-/

It means literally that - she has a soft and kind look about her face; it's a good thing.

Ahh :-/ me over thinking again! Haha I sound daft now! But thank u :) she is very pretty and so far so good she seems lovely natured too ;)

I don't suppose anybody can also suggest what sort of weight she could carry before she struggled? My fiancé is keen to learn to ride and loves her but he is 17st - not fat, majority muscle (if that makes a difference)

I think 17st would be too big an ask for her. I would say she would carry up to 12 - 13 stone at a guess. Just remember that most riding stables have a weight limit of 14 st. You need a really big boned weight carrier to carry more. Tack adds several pounds as does the riders clothing, boots and helmet.
