We adopted a dog from a rescue centre a few months ago. They didn't know anything about her history as she was picked up as a stray. We were told by the rescue place that she's between 4 and 6 years old, our vet thinks she's between 8 and 10.

Any idea what sort of cross she could be?

And in one of her favourite places:

Looking at these pictures, she's probably getting a bit podgy!!

Thanks!

She's lovely, a really nice temperament - apart from the fact that she really does not like other dogs (especially bitches). Her name is Twinkle.

LOL she looks like she's blowing a raspberry in the 2nd piccy

She seems to have Rottie markings but with a Collie thrown somewhere in there

Thanks for all the replies! We think there might be collie in there, but we're not sure what else. She's a bit smaller than a GSD and of a much lighter build than a lab, especially at the back. What ever she is, she's a lovely dog.

Of course the next question is...

... should we breed from her???

Only kidding!

I would say lab/german shepherd and her vital statistics would match.

Bit smaller than a GSD - probably about lab size then?

and much lighter than a lab, especially at the back - then probably like a GSD in weight and at the back.

Shes lovely.

She's raving collie X lab if you ask me. Don't be fooled by the alleged "rotti" markings, often these markings are typical of tri-coloured collie's.

Here is a photo of my puppy. Her mother, Lily, is a straight cross from a registered Springer Spaniel X ISDS collie, and her father is a purebred tri-coloured collie.

Here is Snowdrop, the puppy;
