getting a new bridle as mine litterly falling to pieces. what have you got and what would you reccomend?
thanks:)

I've got a Kieffer it's lovely not overly expensive nice enough for shows but it's stood up well to daily wear and my big boy even when he rubs his head etc i used it for breaking him in and it still looks good as new although a bit dirty :/

i have a kieffer which is lovely, a heratage one which is again lovely, an ameigo one (not had it long enough to know how well it will last), an ascot one which is lovely and finally a micklem bridle which i love :) but i have tons of bridles these are just my best ones :o i have a £25 english leather bridle which i have had for 10 years used twice daily and thats still going and looks like it has a while yet :)

I have Elevators, absolutely love them.

I have three at the moment, all roughly 8 years old, and bearing up very well. They are all like new despite regular use.

I do quite fancy a Jeffries IR though I must admit.

a kieffer bridle sounds good, ill have a good look now, but i quite fancy a jeffries bridle, there more expensive though. what do you think?x

I have two FSS bridles (one snaffle and one double) and couldn't recommend them enough. They've been in daily use for 8 years and still look new.

A stubben & a synthetic bridle. Love how smart he looks in his Stubben and love how if the material bridle gets wet I can just chuck the whole lot in the washing machine :D

Both are 4 years old

I have a keiffer (really soft and padded), a John whitaker (really not keen on it, the leather is awful), a robinsons performance range one (I love this one, the leather is lovely and it looks very smart), a shires blenhiem one (my everyday one, the leather is very soft and it is well padded) and a KF one (just my parts bridle now but the leather is very soft and of good quality)

Two Kieffers comfort bridles, three elevators, a Collegiate hunter bridle and an Evison Equine comfort bridle.

They've all been lovely and soft from the start

Sabre. It's well over 15yrs old, had very heavy use, hasn't always been looked after as well as it should, & still in great condition, & comes up nice enough for best. I like albion, stubben & jeffries too.

Beautiful dyon bridle, nothing compares for me.
And a Townfields bridle, good quality/fit and about £70

Where can you buy dyons from? I've been searching for one for quite some time.

I have sabres mostly, but I also have a kieffer comfort bridle, a rhinegold bridle, a jeffries bridle and a couple of stubben bridles. Whoops, would appear I'm a bridle hoarder :o (Theyre from about 4 different horses though, didn't buy all of them new, and was given a couple of sabres (although one died not long after I was given it due to a bl00dy minded horse!)

I've got a f/s black Jeffries for my piebald cob and a brown gfs x full bridle for my rising 3 yr old Clyde x cob. Both are hunter nose band types. Both lovely quality.

I love bridles I have at least a dozen. My favourite is my passier double which fits my little TB perfectly. Snaffle bridles are kieffers (have bought bling browbands for them though) and albions. I also have a shockenmohle and a Jeffries IR which are both also lovely.

I recently bought a Treadstone bridle off eBay, brand new, direct from a seller. English leather, and it cost £40 inclusive of postage. Really impressed with it for the price :)

Depends how much you want to spend. My show bridle is a made to measure by a saddler. My every day bridle is a cheapie from robinsons but its really nice and soft! I also have one with flash from heritage.

Sorry I missed the post stroppy mare, I bought mine from a fab shop in redditch called espayo equestrian. They also has a website that you can order from, really reasonable prices. I had been looking for absolutely ages as well and nothing has compared to the craftsmanship or comfort. X

Beautiful Elevator that is now on eBay due to my beloved old horse passing, and it being brown. My other mare is in a black collegiate which is finer and suits her fine features better. I would definitely buy Elevator again, for the right horse, the quality is wonderful, they arrive soft and are easy to keep soft. I also have a red headcollar and bridle combo for endurance, now that is lovely too, soft and easy to maintain, plus looks fab on a grey.
