what's your price range? his head is gorgeous, a nice hunting bridle but not too heavy, why don't you ask your local saddler to make you one ours is really skillfull and does any horse justice. Sabre do some nice bridles that would suit too.
I'd be willing to pay up to around £80 for a really good one. He's just got a cheapy bridle at the moment which I used for my old horse so wanted to treat him to a nice new one
I can't tell for sure, but for me, he looks as though he has quite a small head, would you think a nice rolled leather one? But then I am a dressage person, and maybe you hunt him, I don't know.
It's hard to tell in photos! He's an Irish Sport Horse if that helps.
We're going to do some Dressage this year and he has done SJ previously so some of that too hopefully. Want something smart but not so smart that I'd be scared of using it for everyday riding too.
I deffinately think a hunter bridle, the flat cut would really suit his shape. Have a look at derby house, sabre and jeffries both their show hunter bridles would suit although i prefer the eton sabre at the bottom of the page.
I got Ryu a jeffries falcon bridle but had the headpiece swapped for the comfort style one can honestly say it is lush the moseband is fairly meaty and suits his big head.
