what bridles do you recommend?

want to get a new bridle for new horsey as current one seems to wide at her ears and far too chunky for her, anyone got any ideas for nice bridles,not huge amounts of money! quite like the look of the padded headpiece ones...

I like the heritage padded bridles though they do have a crank noseband. They are about £65 which is a reasonable amount but mine have lasted 6yrs so far and they polish up really well.
 
I love sabre, the leather is great and lasts for years. I brought a heritage one with all the padding and crank noseband and my mare hated it, she wouldnt turn left!!
 
Dever leather is quite good and the big advantage is they sell all the components separately as well so you can make a bridle up of matching parts if required. For example, My boy needs a pony head piece and cob cheeks, browband and noseband. My local saddler will substitute the headpiece at the normal bride price and I bought a matching grackle noseband for XC as well.

Aaaah but you see I have a gelding and he is the most complicated you can get! more so than my mare!

Collegiate are nice they do one with a padded headpiece but no crank, Barnsby are lovely although rather more expensive, Rhinegold are very nice and reasonably priced as are heritage.
 
Albion, Barnsby, Passier or if you can live without the padded headpiece Fylde. I rather pay that bit extra for something top quality that should look good for longer.
