What can horses do ?

Someone asked me what can horses do ? Meaning asking them to act differently in different situations ,which got me thinking ....
I can think of quite alot but Im sure there are more ...
Dressage , Cross Country , Driving , Polo , Endurance , Vaulting , Racing , Show Jumping , Riding and Driving for the Disabled , Hunting , Police Horses , Logging , Farm work (ploughing etc ) , Ranch work ( herding , roping etc ) and Gymkhana
We have also them to War and down mines.
Mind has gone blank ....what else ?

Hacking, endurance, le trec, Circus performers, vaulting, I am sure I saw an article where a minature was being used as a guide pony, therapy (PAT animals and other sorts of mental health therapy), breeding, showing, land management (some native breeds are bing used to maintains SSSI's), blood donors and medicine production (is it premarin?). Prob lots of other.

I didnt include hacking,showing, lessons etc and Trec as its similar to what Endurance do . What Im looking for is what we ask a horse to do that is more unusual ( go into a riot , jump coloured poles , go for miles , carry a disabled person etc ), you know , things we've asked them to do that they wouldnt normally do . Thanks for the reply , Id forgotten about the guide pony etc .

Ceremonial occasions (e.g. Trooping of the colour), Tourism (Pony Trekking, Trail Riding), Hacking, Polocrosse, Horseball, Horse Agility, Liberty work, Hunting, Advertising (e.g. Thwaites Shires, Budweiser Clydies), Showing....... now I've gone blank, but am ure there are yet more!

Theatre and film work. Bull fighting. Pulling canel barges, caravans and taxis. Ponies were used on Scott's antarctic expedition.

Pack horses (thinking of Highlands carrying deer), jousting, tent-pegging, archery etc.
