Basically I went to view a horse a few months ago that woundlt let me mount bolted with me and tried to get me off, at the time they gave the excuse 'it had never done that' and 'very odd behaviou' etc etc...however later was readvertised as a bolter and had been doing so for some time but now i see it has been readvertised http://www.preloved.co.uk/adverts/show/104798519/sports-horses-true-eventer.html and doesnt mention anything about bolting, is it worth reporting the ad as i dont want someone to go though the same horrible experience especially not a young girl........thankyou :)

You can try, but I doubt they will do anything :( Not surprised they couldn't sell him advertised as a bolter  She could always claim she would let potential buyers know when they phoned...

You would hope at that price people would realise that there must be an issue but it could also encourage the less experienced folk.

I'm slightly amused that she states his EVENTING results are on the BSJA site

Talk to the advertiser, if it bolts and hurts someone badly you would feel bad. Some people will do anything to sell an animal

also just looked at the advert, £350 - anyone who knows horses will know its got major problems its the people who dont that could have a problem, for that money why not just have it put down seeing as it sounds dangerous?
