Well, it's my birthday tomorrow! However, I'm working, so I won't get a chance to do much (Apart from go out for a Chinese meal, yum!) and I'm allowed to do what I want on saturday :D

I live in Milton Keynes (Bucks) and I was wondering if any of you know of anything horsey that I could do around that area?

Thanks in advance :)

ETA:
It has to be something the family (or atleast my mum) could join in with, so a riding lesson probably wouldn't be the best thing. Maybe a rescue centre I could visit, or a race or...well, something along those lines :)

Have a look at the websites of both Addington (r Buckingham) and Bury Farm( nr Leighton Buzzard/ Dunstable). There maybe things on at one of them. Or,if you fancied London, try a hack round Hyde Park. Quite surreal, riding alongside the mad traffic in Park Lane etc! There are proper horse tracks around the park.
Happy birthday!

Ooh thank you both :D

I shall suggest all of those to my parents :D

Though, I would LOVE to hack around Hyde Park...my hero Jackie Chan has ridden there :O

Not horsey, but Another place I have had really good experience of is Paradise wildlife park at Broxbourne, its not far from Enfield. We fed the tigers there and hada fab "behind the scenes" day,but it is very hands on,and you can feed and stroke the camels/reindeer/zebra etc etc.

Oooh, Polo might be fun :D I LOVE polo ponies and love watching it :)
Even if I don't do it for my birthday, I'm going to google it :D

I wouldn't do 'proper' hunting (I love foxy-woxies! haha) but I'd certainly do a drag hunt :D The only problem is, I don't have a horse D: It'd have to be out with the local hunt and I don't they've got anything soon :(
