What can I use???

Hello.

My little mare is very pink skinned and as such is quite sensitive to cuts and bites. I have noticed that she has now got rubs from her bridle which show up black on her face. It is specifically her noseband. Is there anything I can use to either harden the skin or put on the noseband to protect her??

Take the noseband off? I put Sudocreme on my boy's rubbed black bits, he rubs his face because he's a sweet-itchy pony.
