What can this lump be?

My horse has got a big lump about 10cm lond and 5 cm wide it is hard. When you touch it he doesn't flinch or anything could it be a fly bite? Will take pictures when i go back down

mine has this, vet thought it was a fly bite but it is still there... doesnt affect him, might get the vet to ahve another look when his jabs are due...

Its also on the underneath of his belly

our old girl gets lumps like this, they are fly bites. If you are in doubt tho i'd get vet to check, especially if it changes size, or feel etc.

fly bites usually. ab's was covered in them the other day after we had tht wee bit rain an the buggars came out in force

check there are no ticks or bug lurking but probably fly bite
