Last night OH tryed to bring horse in for feed and to be stabled , but Horse planted his feet and would not move then desided to rear at which point other half let go of lead rope .
Managed to get lead rope off and desided to leave horse in field , tryed again with RI horse walked to gate and then would not budge so left him again .
I have a ACL tear in my knee which I got climbing over cases to get off train so cannot ride and he has not been ridden for three weeks , desided to sell him and look for someting when knee on mend .
What else can I do ?

Anyone else about you can ask to exercise him or put him on share whilst you recover? Sounds like he's taking advantage of the situation.

Really doesnt sound that bad if he's only just started doing it, need to nip it in the bud though before it gets worse.

Other half not as confident as me and I think even though he will not admit it a little scared , have been looking for a rider while my knee gets better but no luck .
Have advert on horsemart and newrider maybe I bit off more than I could chew , and my knee injury does not help things !

I would get help bringing him asap, or your going to end up with a horse that thinks if it rears up at the gate it will be left out, and so will do this all the time!

OH found out tonight when he went up to try and bring him in that one of the Geldings thats in with him kicked him yesterday and chased him into that corner where the gate is .
Also his head coller had been tightened so tight that it left imprints ,so not sure if one of the other liveries did it or kids messing about .
But other half very relieved we have people coming to look at him tomorrow as my leg will take 8-12 wks to mend , so he has no rider at the moment OH will give it a go maybe while we sell him . Then look for something laid back thats not as sharp , even though I know there will be tears if I sell him .
