What class to enter? - numpty question 993!

Right, I have never ever been to a show before. Not even to watch really

I am now chucking myself in and plan to take both Ellie and Daisy to a show in July. Ellie is easy, she will go in the Veteran class and if she is looking pretty on the day into prettiest mare too, although even I can see she isn't the best looking of horses! Hopefully the judges will have had a drop or two of something alcoholic before judging - beer goggles and all that

Anyway, I digress. What classes should Daisy go in to? She is a 14.3 Irish Cob. The show doesn't have a cob class but has mountain and moorland classes and also hunter classes. She is bay so not eligable for the coloured classes obviously!

Should Daisy go in the Mountain and Moorland class?

She wouldn't be eligible for the M&M classes unfortunately, so would have to be a hunter one!

It is just a little open show and the only hunter class is in hand.

There doesn't even seem to be a 'ridden hunter' class but there is a ridden M&M and ridden Coloured class

I would have entered both the in hand and ridden classes if there was a ridden class.

Perhaps I should complain that the riding club are being 'Cobist' and descriminating against all the lovely non-coloured cobs out there by not having a cob class
