i have a tbxcob altho looks like a thoroughbred its horse in middle of siggy, so can i do working hunter or do i do show hunter. as ive always believed working hunter is for heavier types.

working hunter, jumping phase inportant, show hunter, no jumping so all flatwork. Depends on what level showing you was thinking of? For local shows both WH and show hunter would be fine, but for county the show hunters do tend to be more showy, finer types, plus at county max height of a show hunter is 15.2hh

[/ QUOTE ] I think you mean the maximum height for a SMALL HUNTER is 15.2hh, the other hunter categories have no height limit and some of them are huuuuggge!

No i ment just as i said, the maximum height for show hunter classes is the intermediate class at 15.2hh, after that there is the small ridden hunter and the lights/mids/and heavies. BUT the poster was asking on SHOW HUNTER classes.

Light, middleweight and heavy hunters are also 'show hunters', and have no height limit:

what about if i done novice show hunter and then went on to do next class open show hunter would that be okay? or would the judge get annoyed?
