So, do you class your horse as a 'Competition horse'? I have two horses that I keep to compete on. Our whole daily routine is geared for competing. It does not matter to what level. Actually we compete unafilliated, mainly sj but with some dressage. I ride EVERY day and the horses have one day off if they are competing every weekend, otherwise they do not get a day off but they are stable kept 24/7 from Nov to April due to boggy clay soil. If I did not compete I would not keep the horses. Just wondered of your views of a competition horse. Just because the horses are not competing at a high level means nothing. They do not know that! Your views appreciatated.
