As title says what classes should I do with ben?
Honest opinions please I think I should be ok doing the ridden hunter class its only riding club level by the way. But was thinking about doing riding club horse and working hunter but would you do that with him?
I know he has a weak bum but we are working on it.

Also was told to do novice horse but no clue what that is and riding horse but I think hes a bit too heavy for that not that I know what it is?

Hunter, working hunter and riding horse classes all sound perfect for him, he's definately a hunter type.

He's not a riding horse type, so I'd avoid those, but you can do "Ridden Horse" classes at smaller shows.

Novice horse classes are usually for horses that havent won or haven't been placed in a ridden showing class, but the eligability restrictions depend on the show. If you're eligable, he'd be suited to it, but you'd show him as a hunter type in these classes (ie tweed, plain browband etc).

He's lovely, I'm sure you'll do well with him.

Thanks very much I thought It was right to show him as a hunter, I already have all my tweed and plain browband and everything else as I used to have a coloured who used to be show as a hunter type.

I cant wait to show him, We will be ok doing the novice horse class then as we havent been to any shows yet, and as its riding club level we should be ok doing that.

Im so excited and nervous at the same time as its first show with him and just hope judges will like him. And that he behaves himself lol Im sure he will hes a good boy.
