Mine are Lister. Never had any trouble with them, I like them but I would recommend going for a pair with a battery pack so you don't have to plug them into the mains. It's just easier without the cord gettting in the way

I have about 3 sets (overkill

)

I have some heiniger heavy duty ones which are great for horses who don't mind clipping.

For the more delicate soul I have some Wahl Stable Pro clippers which are much quieter but take a-g-e-s to do a full clip.

I've got some liveryman trimmers to do heads / legs.

I like all of mine but would like some heavy duty ones that were a bit quieter and lighter!

Lister plug in and lister battery - there great, never a sorry day the plug in we have had for about 13years and the battery about 3yrs i got the battery because its better for horses that move around a lot and they are slightly quiter. Blades are realy easy to change and to get sharpened and we would clip about 5-7 horses twice a year.

i also have some livery face trimmers they seem fine but havent had them long.

i have the lister liberty battery one and i also have the mains adaptor for them and wouldn't change them as they are fab. great for horses bad to clip and that move about. can get in close to the horse without the worry of cables and batery lasts about 2 1/2- 3 hours. i only have mains just in case battery dies but have never used it. highly recommend them

Lister Neon's. Really like them and they are very light, but they do seem to overheat quite quickly. Have to stop fairly often and give them 5 mins to cool down. I'm quite para though!!!

Same here

I had lister stablemates (mains), which were FAB. I have just upgraded to the new lister liberty set. even FABBER!. Battery lasts ample time for a full clip and I'm quite slow and pernickity.

Wouldn't go past lister for clippers. Although the liberty's are a bit expensive, they are well worth it. You may be able to pick up their predacessor, the lister showman second hand now. They are also excellent clippers and the batteries and blades do for the liberty as well.

I have Liveryman Arena's ....funny thing is I went over to the Wolesley stall at YHL on Sunday and old him which clippers I had, he said DONT SWEAR AT ME ..lol

ive got a pair of wolsely swift and a pair of Heiniger cordless clippers.
both are excellent and stoof up to the work. personally iwont buy liveryman but thats because i had a crap pair and returned them so wouldnt look at getting another, but i know people who love them

I have the Wahl Avalons. Heavy duty enough for my CBxTB (the anglo doesnt need clipping).

If I were doing more than 1 or 2 clips a year I would have a more heavy duty set but these ones do the job well. Very lightweight, quiet and easy to use.

I have liveryman element trimmers and am deciding between the liveryman arena plus clippers and the liveryman filly clippers - any suggestions?

i was toying with the idea of getting the liverman harmony with battery pack but i feel a more heavy duty cliiper would be in order as there is a chance that i will be clipping for others and the harmony cliers are not really designed for loads of clips.
