What clippers if you had magic wand?

As title really. I've got a set of Liveryman Harmony and they've been ace, clipped a huge number of horses for their size. Easy because no trailing wires, piece of cake to clean, no tension adjustments necessary, piece of cake to change blades, replacement blades cheap and easily obtainable. However, the on/off switch has stopped working at the lower setting and tbh the number of horses I clip does challenge them. Saying that, I clipped my oldie Cushings lad fully out in the spring, damp thick coat and all. Looked like he'd fallen through a window at the Flymo testing laboratory but they did the job. So I'm looking at investing in a new set but am overwhelmed with ? mains, power output, tension knobs, noise, clattering, ease of use for ordinary owner, etc etc etc. I'm interested in the Harmony Mains Plus but the advertised "comes with 3 blades" seems to only apply if you order the battery one. For the money they're asking I expected choice of mains/battery to be within same purchase.

So if you had a magic wand, clipped around 10 possibly more horses on your yard as favours for friends (they make donations to my annual Christmas feed drive for local rescue centre), had 2 cobs (1 Cushingoid but on Pergolide) and 5 shetlands and wanted to move up to something a bit more grown up but still easy care/easy clipping, what would you recommend??? Thanks.
 
i have just braught a set of liveryman red rocket clippers and fully clipped my connomara cross today and so far so good clipped everywhere brilliantly from her feathers which where slighly grubby and fairly thick to her finer hair on her face/shoulders she also let me clip her stiffle area which i have struggled with in the past even had her kick out at me before which she never does, they are light and easy to hold quiet and diddnt get hot atall when clipping my mare i paid £275 and my local tack shop for mine ive seen them cheaper but also more expensive online although if like me you have a coloured or grey horse you might want to but some clear clipper oil as the clipper oil supplied stained my horse so i used some clear clipper oil that i already had they also say they are for medium usage so im guessing 10 horses is medium useage :)

lol.....I agree, I hate being covered with itchy hair.

I have the Hauptner 2000 and they have never let me down, touch wood I haven't cursed them :)
 
I do a mobile clipping servcie so need reliable clippers always had hauptner which served me well bought pair of liveryman mustang in 2000 which were lighter in the hand and quieter I replaced them last year with liveryman filly, I really wish I hadnt they get very hot and struggle with thicker coats/feathers. wish I had not sold the mustangs :(:(

Ive still got my LM Mustangs yeeharider, must have had them some years by now, but they have been a good reliable set of clippers.
