As title says really! Im currently wearing a joules padded one, but could do with a thicker winter waterproof one too so any recommendations would be great! :)

I have a gortex (I think that's right?) coat the I bought from Olympia many moons ago which I love. I also had a lovely pink Musto one which was old and shabby and stolen! Argh! Other half then treated me to a new one at the weekend and I opted for a Regatta one, mainly because you get more for your money....plus we bought from an outlet store. It's gorgeous and I love it. Infact, I wish I had 2! One for the stables and one for everyday that doesn't smell of horse poo!

whichever cheap scabby coat I pick up from the garage on way to the yard ! when it gets really cold and dry (heres hoping) I have a lovely musto but until then scabby old smelly coats all the way !

I bought one of those hi viz builder ones from ebay a couple of years a go and I love it. Its warm, waterproof, has deep pockets and I stand out hen riding which is great because Id often forget to put my tabard on when I rode. For me its a great all rounder and to top it off it was really cheap compared to horsey coats. It also has a horses head on the back which is rather childish since Im about to turn 31!

My postman has literally just arrived with my Regatta Preya jacket! I've obviously yet to try it in freezing temperatures but the fleece lining is sooooo snug I can't take it off! Comes in a lovely range of colours but make sure you shop around for the best price (some selling it for £70, I got mine for £31)

Ski jacket from TKMAxx. Definitely the way to go. Lovely and warm and has zipped vents under the arm for when I warm up on the ride.

It's so wet I need more than one! I have a Berghaus goretex waterproof, when that's drying out I have a ski jacket that I got from TKMaxx, great pockets for phone, radio, etc. And if I need three jackets in one day -as has been known - a Mountain Horse. Oh, and when it's dark and I'm walking up to the yard with the dogs, a Tesco employee's reject hi viz.
