I am picking up my new pony on Saturday (fingers crossed)I know I know... Kept that quiet!! and let's face it I will want to buy something new for him :-) pics for inspiration will be most welcome.....

Blimin heck you don't half move fast lol!
Which horse is it? That grey?
Greys are lovely because they go with any colour (not like chestnuts grrr). If you want look at my old grey girl on fb she might be modelling a few different colours. I liked purple on her and it suited her (poor Ginger boy has to wear her purple rugs now and they clash terribly with his red hair).
Otherwise anything really! My old grey boy looked nice in royal blue.

So what's the horse like!! X

We used to have a dapple pony. All colours suited her, but the best ones were white (when she was dark grey) and then black when she got a bit lighter.. It looked really smart. I also highly recommend having a numnah the same colour as the coat at this time of year when they start moulting!

I like quite alot of colours on my mare!
Royal blue, burgandy, bottle green, brown, pale blue etc. I'm not keen on bright colours but that is more to do with my taste than what suits her tbh! I think mine looks gorgeous in pretty much anything - not so much the mud and muck that she loves to wear!

my grey is in green , quite a bright one , but not lime green !

Everything he owns has green trim or is green and my jacket has a green collar and trim :)

Just had a look at some SJ photos I took at the yard: one dappled grey horse is in a black saddlecloth (and with the girth being black it looks great), one in dark red with gold piping, one in brown and another in white. Personally I think the black looks best!

Greys go with mostly anything. Blue is quite a good starting point, any varied hue of blue!! Brown, Dark Purple, Brown, Grey, Red. Would avoid yellow/lime green (Dark Green looks lovely). And I've even got a pink set for Bruce!! xoxo

Well, I tend to do everything in black/blue/grey/silver anyway...i varying shades within that range!

I plan to hunt/show my boy in green/green tweed.

I can't stnand my boy in white (which we do for dressage) as it makes him look dirty. Love him in dark colours as it gives a contrast - navy and black are my favourites
