what colour browband? thoughts please!

Ok, so am doing the riding horse class at the county shows over the following 3 weeks, so need to get a coloured browband for the double bridle, had a blue and silver one from pony but it didnt fit (it was a cob size - my horse has a small head

)it was just on the short size.

what colours would suit him as am going to have to buy the ribbon velvet and make my own browband?

oh am also going to put a small flat noseband on him as i think this would suit him better.

is this a good idea? need your help please!

ets he has a white heart on the front of his head between the eyes!

These people do browbands made to whatever size you need (ie not just standard pony, cob, etc) if you just measure the size of your current one they'll make you one to fit.

for county shows you would be best off sticking to red or burghundy.
does she have any white on her face? if not then a light colour like cream or gold will lift the face when combined with the red/ burghundy

I think the flat noseband is a good idea, i was going to suggest something with red as it will help him stand out in the crowd!!

I'd get red as I an of the opinion that a red bb or red tie can make the judge sub-conciously think 'first place'!!!

I would tend to go for burgundy and gold , or Evergreen/forest green with gold/cream would be lovely on him .

Definitely go for the flat noseband .
