what colour hoof oil should i put on?

horsey has:

2 x black hooves - so obviously black hoof oil
1 x stripey hoof (on black leg)
1 x white hoof (on sock)

Should i paint them all black?
Or do the white one in clear?

Why do you want to use hoof oil?

Just asking because hoof oil is very bad for the hooves, it dries them out and stops essential moisture, etc getting into the hoof hence why you should only use oil for shows and not for everyday use.
If its just for a show use clear looks a lot better than black.

ethol doesnt dry hoves and alows moisture to get in so i use that, for mine, i use carr&day&martin clear with tea tree anti fungal stuff, good for horses with problems in hoofs

I would use clear stuff.... it depends on what you use whether it dries the hoof or not.

Kevin Bacon's is one of the best, recommended by most farriers, it does a lovely job & it's clear

Always clear.
I haven't bought hoof oil for years, use cooking oil or baby lotion, they do the same job, and I rub it on with a sponge.
