Introducing my new companion pony…
He’s passported as being bay but his mane is grey! Any knowledgeable types willing to give me any idea on his proper colouring?
I would describe him as gorgeous and sort of browny black with a grayish mane. As you can tell no idea but he looks lovely I hope he's as kind as he looks.
Thank you for the compliments, he is as sweet as he looks. A bit of a change from my usual "over 17hh" but still 4 white feathered stockings, a white face and a strong need to please humans.
I've never seen those warmblood colours before but I doubt very much he's so much as sniffed one of them let alone related!
My oldest clydesdale has a roan mane but he is also very roan all over. I have seen clydesdale foals with "blonde" manes and tails but this is very different as it has a definite black base. Who knows!
