Always wondered what colour to actually class her as, I own her mum who must have been covered just before I bought her. Dam is palomino and sire is unknown but judging on how she has turned out I am guessing he was your traditional gypsy cob.
She was a buckskin colour when very young which then darkened. Her muzzle, around her eyes and stifle area are still very light now though.
Here is a pic of her a few minutes old
A few months old in this one
And this as a yearling
I don't actually have any up to date ones of her (now rising 11years old) but she isn't much different to the pics apart from her size.
Her mane and tail are black and white but her patches seem very dark bay to me.
What colour would you actually class her as?
Do you think she has a base coat colour of black with the creme gene?
Any suggestions much appreciated
