What colour jacket?

Right I am on a mission to find a nice tweed showing jacket for my friend
Any ideas what colour to go for? Hes a black highland, I shown him last year with a green tweed but this year owner is showing him and would like to know what colour would look best on him.

A nice grey toned blue would look nice on a black horse I think.

I would say a green with a red check would look really nice on a black horse. Showing selection/Alexander James and Designer browbands do some really nice stuff and you can also get some bargains on ebay and then get them adjusted for a good fit.

Thanks for that, I was thinking maybe green but as I am unimaginative and its the colour I have that the only reason I thought that colour haha.

blue is a nono for showing, with a black horse you can get away with most shades of green or brown, get a bold overcheck if you are wanting something different.

There are loads of different shades of green tweed available & they look incredibly smart.
