at the moment we are doing unaffiliated (and will be this season) dressage and hopfully 'proper' classes in a couple of months or so showjumping...

I have a black jacket which drowns me (ebay special in a rush for a show :D ) and i want to replace it!

i like black jackets but also like plain grey ones too.... is grey allowed for jumping and dressage?? or do i stick with black (not navy it will clash)!
thanks :)

Navy is correct, other than that it really is down to personal taste - dressage being more conservative than sj! You see pretty much all dark colours w/wo pin stripes, so it is your taste really. Tbh I would go for navy or tweed (depending on your horses type) as you can wear the same jacket for everything then.

woudl i be allowed a grey jacket in unaff dressage and jumping??

i prefer black or grey as i have a black hat and boots with white jods....

grey tweed could work....its also the fact i am very very pale and black kinda washes me out lol!

You would be allowed any of them, so aside from 'correctness' it really is just personal choice! Grey tweed sounds v smart though.

(I look dreadful in my black jacket (bought in a rush), but tbh with my beetroot red face it really is the least of my problems!)
