What colour jodphurs for showing a full chesnut shetland in hand

What colour jodphurs do I wear for showing a full chesnut Shetland in hand. I've seen things saying that if you have a dark colour pony, to wear light jodphurs and if you have a light coloured pony, to wear dark jodphurs. Chesnuts are in-between so im just wondering what colour jodphurs to wear

You could wear trousers in a contrasting colour, maybe blue or green?

Trousers unless you are a child. If legs are white or chestnut, wear dark coloured trousers, with sturdy short boots.

I wouldn't wear jodhpurs! Smart trousers in a different colour from the pony's legs and boots that you can run safely in, on grass, so not jodhpurs boots.

Of course it doesn't really matter at local level. I see plenty of people in jeans and trainers! It gives some people more confidence if they know they are dressed correctly for the class and that's fine too.

Another vote here for trousers. I am a bit of a dirt magnet so would go for burgundy or green ones
