Hello I'm going to my first unaffiliated dressage comp next month and need to get a new show jacket but I don't know which one.

My horse is coloured skewbald, so don't know if navy or tweed will look best? Thanks all

If you are buying a jacket purely for dressage then a navy or black jacket.

However if you want to do a bit of showing and some dressage then a green or brown tweed would be best

If you go for a solid colour, I'd also go navy, I think it looks so much smarter than black on women.

I think it depends on what you may want to do though, tweed is more versatile.

Navy for ladies, black for gents (traditionally). I do think navy is smarter than black on a lady. But if you want one jacket for all occasions, may be better with tweed.
