Please take a moment to answer this simple question :) I would do a poll but cant figure out how :D

If it's not County level showing - black defo! Otherwise, I'd opt for dark Havana and oil it! That looks pretty black once it's oiled and you'll pass the etiquette for County showing, too :)

I used to own and show a palomino (but back in the early 1980's) when brown was the only 'acceptable' colour tack for showing. Things are less stringent these days! LOL. :)

Oh no he is getting a synthetic saddle and leather bridle, it is for my youngster....his first proper outfit as he currently is in borrowed stuff with a billion holes punched in the bridle and pads under the saddle (as advised by my saddle fitter lol)

:) Brown, not Newmarket though:eek:
Mind, I'd say that everytime because I am old and stuffy and don't like black.;)

Ooh you may have just saved my ned from black tack...I hate it too. I am also thinking of getting him a pink equine bridle with pink crystals

:D PINK:eek: C'mon, it's bad enough that the boy has to spend his life being called Yellow!;) Pink and Yellow!:D I wonder if they really give a flying fig what colour we dress them up in really though?;)

Brown! my palomino wears brown and really suits it :p
I think black looks a bit 'tacky' on a palomino IMO... having said that I don't really like on most colours :p

Zeus has bling too! His show halter is like this:

*coughs* eeer...pink!

I honestly (honestly) didnt mean it...it sort of just happened...I got the lorry, then the rugs (cheap off of ebay, I got 10 rugs for £100, all Jumpers horseline ones) , then the horse! Poor baby!

I agree, I think black tack is a bit tacky. Black looks ok on bays and geys, but brown is def best for pals and chestnuts.

However, I will not allow anything pink or sky/baby blue near my horse, yuk!

Thats what I thought marmalade...I have the famous virus "pinkusaddictivus" though and it is very hard to get rid of. Until I got my lorry, everything was black, brown or cream!!

I know. Sky blue suits him better but might clash with my (pink) lorry :)

 Well, if you are going to clash, you may as well go the whole hog and do it properly! :D pink lorry, yellow horse, pink blankets, please tell me that his halter isn't pink too....you need to add some blue and purple to the palette.

brown :)

I have been easing my mum (has proper barbie palo!) into the pink and purple over the last 6 years. She recently bought a purple schooling whip of her own volition :D

I bought her a purple sparkly leadrope for her birthday :D
